Our Franklin 147 was manufactured in 1930 in New York USA. The car was put into storage just after World War 2. Between 1960 and 1971 a full restoration was completed in Canada and the vehicle was imported into the UK in 1990 and was featured in a promotion of Canada in the book "Between Friends/Entre Amis" which was published in 1976.
